Gregory Agid Quartet releases debut CD “Mystery Blues”

UntitledRecently nominated as New Orleans’ Best Clarinetist by Off Beat Magazine, Gregory Agid is solidifying his place in New Orleans’ musical tradition with the release of his debut record, Mystery Blues. Produced by Delfeayo Marsalis, Mystery Blues showcases Agid’s unique approach to improvisation on the clarinet through original compositions and standards. The quartet will celebrate with a cd release party at the Little Gem Saloon on February 28 at 8 and 10 p.m.

“The time has come to share our music with the world,” says Agid. “We wanted to make a record that showcased our musical roots while looking into the mystery of the future. You have never heard a clarinet sounds like this!”
